B+I Machine Operator

Job Title: B+I Machine Operator
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Reports To: Production Supervisor

Position Summary

The B+I Machine Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and quality-focused operation of assigned production and assembly machinery. This role ensures products are manufactured according to specifications, quality standards, and company procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned production and assembly machines safely and efficiently.

  • Load component parts into assembly machines according to production orders and specifications.

  • Verify that all components and materials match the part numbers listed on production documentation.

  • Inspect work-in-progress products for defects and ensure quality standards are consistently met.

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and BRC requirements.

  • Complete production reports, quality documentation, and other required paperwork accurately and timely.

  • Make minor machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency and product quality.

  • Report major equipment malfunctions or production issues to the mechanic or supervisor promptly.

  • Assist with preventive maintenance and may be trained to perform higher-level mechanical support duties.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping standards.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Technical school training and/or relevant on-the-job machine operation experience preferred.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow production orders, specifications, and work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.

  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by job duties.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Pay Details: $18.50 per week
