Accounting Analyst

Under general supervision, provides a broad range of accounting tasks including process commission statements and reports and analyzing data to meet business needs.
Job Responsibilities
· Reconcile commission statements in Ascend
· Review and post commission statements from Ascend into the Global Green Agency Management System (Epic)
· Balance the commissions statements against Epic and properly record the variance
· Research and drive resolution on missing policies
· Ensure the correct commission rates are entered in the Epic
· Research and resolve Direct Bill questions on a periodic basis
· Thoroughly research and drive resolution for unidentified (orphan) commissions
· Communicate with franchisees to resolve exceptions.
· Escalate unresolved items to supervisor per pre-determined aging timeline
· Learn and understand commonly used terms in the insurance industry
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and Experience
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance or a related field. Applicant should have knowledge of commonly used Accounting concepts, practices and procedures and must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
 

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
