Quality Inspector

Do you have experience in quality inspection and enjoy working with precision measuring tools? We’re looking for a Quality Inspector to join a medical device manufacturing operation where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work, reading engineering drawings, identifying quality issues, and working with different departments to solve problems.

A Day in This Role May Include:

• Inspecting incoming materials and finished or in-process products.

• Using calipers, micrometers, Optical Comparators, and Go/No-Go Gauges to verify dimensions.

• Comparing products against engineering drawings and specifications.

• Performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.

• Documenting inspection results and collecting quality data.

• Identifying and escalating products that do not meet specifications.

• Supporting NCRs, CAPAs, complaint investigations, and root cause analysis.

• Partnering with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.

• Participating in 5S, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.

• Helping maintain quality standards within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• A High School Diploma or GED.

• At least 1 year of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience in an ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 facility.

• Strong experience performing quality inspections.

• Experience with Optical Comparators, Micrometers, Calipers, and Go/No-Go Gauges.

• Knowledge of ASQ/ANSI Z1.4 sampling plans.

• Experience supporting CAPAs, NCRs, customer complaints, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.

• Great attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Even Better If You Have:

• ASQ Quality Technician training or Certified Quality Technician preparation.

• Experience with Keyence equipment and pre-written inspection programs.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
