【Client Description】

Grocery & Retail (GR) is a fast-growing business within Uber Eats that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered through the Uber Eats app. Uber Eats Mart (or so-called Dark Grocery, DG) is an Uber-owned supermarket, a new type of online grocery store under the GR Taiwan line of business, focusing on providing consumers with the most reliable, convenient, and best selection through the on-demand grocery delivery service within 30 minutes.

【Candidate Profile】

● At least 4 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or procurement in Retail, FMCG, or E-commerce industry

● Business-level English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills

● Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

● Ability to identify key business problems and propose data-driven, structured solutions

● Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution

● A hands-on team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

【Responsibilities】

● Own category P&L and performance: Drive sales, margin, and efficiency metrics; taking full accountability for end-to-end business outcomes.

● Optimize category trade-offs: Prioritize key growth and margin levers, making decisions across pricing, promotions, and assortment.

● Drive selection excellence: Build a high-performing SKU(~4,000) portfolio by improving productivity and removing low-efficiency items.

● Lead supplier strategy & negotiation: Manage vendor relationships and drive commercial outcomes through pricing, rebates, and joint initiatives.

● Maximize availability and inventory efficiency: Improve forecasting, reduce wastage, and minimize out-of-stock issues.

● Operationalize data insights: Transform complex raw data into clear problem statements and structured recommendations to support agile decision-making.

● Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with central operations, warehouse, and finance teams to achieve business objectives and define the future business strategy.
