【Candidate Profile】

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, automation or mechatronics.

· Professional experience in a comparable position in image processing or in the field of machine vision, computer vision, compression and computer vision techniques with an emphasis on algorithms.

· Extensive knowledge with common image processing libraries such as MVTec Halcon (preferable), OpenCV, or MATROX, at least 2 years.

· Good analytical and conceptional skills.

· Your experience in image processing is complemented with a consisting customer and solution-oriented approach.

· Fluency in English is mandatory.

· Willingness to travel (30%).

【Responsibilities】

· Adaptation and further development of image processing algorithms for inspection systems with camera technology (GigE Vision interface), sensors, optics, and lighting Explore and analyze data from various sources, and develop data visualizations to help users identify, troubleshoot, and prevent AMC-related issues.

· Determine required components for our clients` visual inspection systems (camera, lighting, lens).

· Integration, commissioning, and functional testing of the inspection systems.

· Prepare feasibility analysis for new samples / requirements of the customer.

· Development of image processing algorithms with Halcon for FOUP inspection systems.

· Work at the tool for camera / illumination tests and adjustments, as well as work with the other teams, to be able to find appropriate solutions to solve tasks and problems.

Occasional trips to customer sites, for tools installation or onsite troubleshooting
