Qualifications: 

1. Master’s degree or above in Automatic Control, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

2. At least ten years of experience leading highly technical, multidisciplinary, and multicultural engineering teams.

3. Technical or project leadership experience in the design, development, and deployment of control system solutions in manufacturing environments.

4. Strategic thinking, organizational communication, and multi-project management capability.

5. Hands-on knowledge of PLC logic and sequencing controls, including Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley platforms.

6. Experience with PC-level programming languages such as VB, C/C++, or C#.

7. Experience with industrial SCADA or DCS platforms such as GE iFix or LabVIEW.

8. Understanding of PID, motion control, and advanced control algorithms.

9. Understanding of machine learning and deep learning applications in smart manufacturing and AI control.

10. Ability to integrate operational software, measurement systems, and inspection systems.

11. Strong English capability for global management, technical presentations, and senior-level communication.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Lead a large technical team through projects to develop and deploy state-of-the-art process control technologies.

2. Build hardware and software engineering capabilities to support early-stage development, pilot manufacturing, and high-volume manufacturing.

3. Partner with technical leaders to develop Precision and Control Systems strategies supporting business operations and growth across Asia.

4. Lead control system architecture, hardware, and software design for process equipment, product prototyping, and factory automation.

5. Provide technical direction on control system hardware, software, algorithms, and system integration.

6. Initiate and lead control solution projects to strengthen engineering capabilities and operational competitiveness.

7. Represent the engineering organization in engagements with internal customers, manufacturing teams, and external vendors across Asia.

8. Champion the deployment of manufacturing control system standards and best practices.

9. Establish training and development programs to improve team capabilities through project assignments, training, and coaching.

10. Manage the performance, project assignments, and career development of multidisciplinary and multicultural engineering teams.

11. Travel to China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other regions based on project requirements.
