Project Director - Data Center Project

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of Data Center and mission-critical infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle, from construction and MEP installation through testing, commissioning, and final handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in Data Center, MEP, Construction, Critical Facilities, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing projects through construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover phases.
• Strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, UPS, Power Distribution, Cooling Systems, and mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing multiple contractors, subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, risk management, contract administration, and cost control capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other Project Management certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Center, MEP, and mission-critical infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and manage project schedules, resources, budgets, forecasts, and project documentation.
• Coordinate construction activities, site execution, MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and client acceptance processes.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct and support FAT, SAT, Integrated System Testing (IST), and commissioning activities to ensure systems perform according to specifications.
• Monitor project risks, identify mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Track project costs and commercial milestones to ensure profitability and timely invoicing.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to customers, management, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, contractual obligations, and project governance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting future business opportunities.
