Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Logistics or any related fields
• English: Internal Conversation Level (TOEIC 750 or more is preferred)
• 8–10 years of experience in Customer Service within logistics, freight forwarding, or sea freight export operations.
• Experience in buyer consolidation or contract logistics, including PO management and shipment status updates in systems, is preferred.
• Holds a Customs Specialist License
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills, particularly with overseas teams.
• Able to perform effectively in challenging environments and handle high pressure situations.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with the capability to set direction and drive execution of growth strategies
Responsibilities:
Role Overview:
This role is responsible for managing end-to-end customs brokerage operations for ocean shipments, ensuring all import and export activities comply with applicable regulations and company standards. The position focuses on improving operational efficiency, minimizing clearance delays, and maintaining high service quality. It also involves leading a team, coordinating documentation, liaising with customs authorities, resolving issues, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Lead and oversee daily operations of the Ocean Customs Clearance team.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of import and export declarations, including LCL, FCL, and special cargo.
• Review and validate customs documentation, HS codes, tariff classifications, and tax calculations.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve clearance issues, and implement solutions to prevent delays.
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, government requirements, and company procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports, analyze operational data, and support management decision-making.
• Provide support on customs-related matters for cases handled by other branches.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen overall customs clearance capabilities.
