Manufacturing Project Management Lead

About This Role

We are currently supporting a confidential senior-level opportunity with a leading manufacturing organization in Thailand.

This role is suitable for an experienced manufacturing project leader who can drive strategic projects, support business expansion, lead new production line readiness, manage automation initiatives, control CAPEX/budget, and ensure end-to-end project execution.

The position will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Safety, Maintenance, IT, and external partners.

This is not a routine project coordination role. The company is looking for someone who can connect business direction with factory execution and deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering project, project management, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or related functions.
• Strong experience in manufacturing project execution, factory expansion, new production line implementation, machine installation, automation, CAPEX project, or operational transformation.
• Experience in FMCG, food, beverage, consumer goods, packaging, or related manufacturing industries would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, budget control, risk management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional project execution.
• Ability to work with senior leadership and translate business direction into executable project plans.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English and Thai.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic manufacturing and operational projects from initiation to completion.
• Drive end-to-end project execution, including business case, budgeting, planning, implementation, commissioning, handover, and post-project review.
• Support manufacturing expansion, new production line readiness, automation, machine installation, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency projects.
• Establish project governance, milestone tracking, risk management, issue escalation, and project reporting.
• Manage project budget, CAPEX, cost control, resource allocation, and project value realization.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Safety, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
• Identify project risks, bottlenecks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide practical recommendations and project updates to senior management.
• Support process improvement, productivity improvement, cost saving, and operational transformation initiatives.
• Build project management discipline, accountability, and structured ways of working across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure project outcomes are successfully implemented and adopted by the operations team.
