Managing Director Thailand (MNC Manufacturing)

We are partnering with a global industrial manufacturing leader to identify an exceptional Managing Director for their Thailand operations. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L and operational accountability, suited for an executive with deep manufacturing expertise and proven country-level leadership experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

You will lead all operations in Thailand overseeing production, supply chain, quality, HSE, and strategic initiatives while representing the country at the sub-regional leadership level (APAC).

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's or MBA is an advantage)
• Over 15 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Proven track record in a full P&L, end-to-end operational leadership role
• Experience with greenfield setups, turnarounds, and multi-site operations
• Strong cross-functional leadership across technical, commercial, and supply chain domains
• Regional APAC exposure preferred; comfortable operating in a matrix structure
• Fluent in English

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Full ownership of Thailand operations: production, supply chain, quality management, HSE, and tooling
• Member of the sub-regional (APAC) management board drive strategic initiatives
• Drive operational excellence, standardization, and continuous process improvement
• Lead and develop a high-performing local team in Thailand
• Manage greenfield projects, plant expansions, and technology transfer
• Align local execution with global strategy across a matrixed organization
