Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience in a design-related role.
- Candidates with experience in other engineering fields but a strong passion for design are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to communicate in English at an internal business communication level.
- TOEIC score of 800 or above is preferred.
- Knowledge of Japanese is an advantage.
- Proficiency in CATIA for 2D and 3D design work.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of engineering drawing and product design principles.
- Strong interest in automotive product development and component design.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Passion for 2D and 3D product design and engineering development.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop 2D and 3D component models based on customer requirements and specifications.
- Create and revise engineering designs to support product development activities.
- Coordinate with relevant departments regarding the production and implementation of designed components.
- Communicate with customers and respond to technical requirements and project inquiries.
- Support design validation and engineering improvement activities.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation related to product design.
- Participate in development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Perform other assigned duties related to engineering and product development.
