Process Engineer (O&G / Petrochemical)

The Opportunity:

Our client, a leading O&G and petrochemical producer is looking for a Process Engineer to support plant operations, drive process improvements, and enhance manufacturing reliability. This is an excellent opportunity for chemical engineers who enjoy troubleshooting, process optimization, and project execution.

The Job:

• Provide process engineering support to improve plant reliability, safety, and production capacity.
• Troubleshoot process issues and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Coordinate and participate in HAZOP studies and other process safety initiatives.
• Develop and implement process improvement projects and plant modifications.
• Conduct plant trials for process optimization and raw material qualification.
• Manage and execute capital projects from concept through implementation.
• Monitor process performance and product quality to ensure operational excellence.
• Perform basic process engineering design and technical evaluations.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge in process engineering fundamental (e.g. fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat & mass transfer, process control logic, separation process etc.
• Up to 10 years of experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with HAZOP, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and related engineering tools.
• Understanding of ASME and API codes and standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
