For our client, a global technology organization operating across international markets, we are looking for a Payroll Specialist EMEA. This position is responsible for managing payroll operations across multiple countries within the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of payroll-related activities. The role involves close collaboration with HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and other key stakeholders in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Candidate Profile:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably supporting multiple countries or within an international environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, validation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience transforming raw payroll data into meaningful reports for various audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with data entry and data validation, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and professional judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience working closely with HR, Finance, and other business stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with ADP GV and/or SAP Payroll.
  • Experience working in a multinational payroll environment.
  • Payroll-related certifications or professional qualifications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processes for multiple countries across the EMEA region, either through in-house payroll operations or in cooperation with external payroll vendors.
  • Review and control payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities, and social security institutions.
  • Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly payroll tax filings and wage tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, tax requirements, and statutory obligations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key business stakeholders, including HR and Finance teams.
  • Support employees with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Analyze the financial impact of legislative changes related to payroll taxes, social security contributions, and employee benefits.
  • Prepare payroll reports, analyses, and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders.
