We’re on the hunt for an energetic and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our client's progressive safety product distribution company.

Operating from a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art warehouse, where they supply some of New Zealand’s largest businesses with world‑class personal protective safety equipment.

General hours of work 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Key accountabilities

·      Effective planner who strives to achieve great results on a daily basis.

·      Effective communicator and focussed team player.

·      Picking or packing with attention to detail and accuracy.

·      Operate inventory and dispatch computer programs.

·      Assisting in communicating to and coordinating freight companies.

·      Packing with method that ensures freight efficiency.

·      Be an on-going contributor to the continual improvement principles of lean management.

·      Be available to remain on duty until dispatch is completed for the day.

·      Maintaining clean and tidy warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders
• Maintaining inventory, dispatch systems, and documentation
• Coordinating with freight companies and supporting daily dispatch
• Ensuring efficient packing methods to optimise freight
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Contributing to continuous improvement and lean management initiatives
• Staying on‑site until daily dispatch is fully completed.
