Roller Driver

Roller Driver | Civil Construction | Upcoming Opportunity (Sept/Oct Start)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roller Driver to join a busy civil construction crew, with work expected to commence around late September to October.

This is an 80/20 split role, with approximately 80% of your time operating a roller and 20% assisting the crew with hand sweeping, occasional shovelling, and other general site duties as required. We're looking for a team player who understands that getting the job done means helping out wherever needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous roller operating experience is essential
• Full Class 1 Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding of civil construction environments
• Physically fit and willing to assist with manual tasks when required
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to get stuck in

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of roller machinery
• Hand sweeping around paving and sealing works
• Assisting with occasional shovelling and general labouring tasks
• Supporting the wider crew to meet project deadlines
• Conducting pre-start equipment checks
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements

Working Hours

This role requires flexibility and commitment during busy project periods.

Applicants must be:

• Available for early starts and late finishes
• Comfortable working long hours when required
• Available for regular weekend work
• Able to stay on-site for extended periods to support project completion
