Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician wanted!!

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team based in Henderson. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and safety of production equipment through preventative maintenance, fault finding, and mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

·     Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and component failures.

·     Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment.

·     Implement and maintain the preventative maintenance schedule.

·     Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of maintenance SOPs and procedures.

·     Review mechanical designs and modifications for practical feasibility and maintenance requirements.

·     Provide technical advice and support regarding installation plans and equipment upgrades.

·     Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

·     Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

·      Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·      Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance environment.

·      Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.

·      Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

·      A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

·      The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Excellent communication and organisational skills.

·      A current full driver's licence and reliable vehicle, as this role is based in Henderson and requires dependable transport to and from work.
