About the Role

As a Junior Chef, you'll support the kitchen team with food preparation, meal assembly, and daily kitchen operations. You'll play an important role in ensuring meals are prepared to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Preparing food to meet quality, presentation, and airline standards.
• Maintaining clean and organised workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Receiving, checking, and storing stock deliveries.
• Supporting stock rotation and helping to minimise food waste.
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Collaborating with team members to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

What You'll Bring

• Exceptional knife skills, with the ability to safely and efficiently prepare ingredients to a high standard.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen as a Junior Chef, Kitchen Hand, Catering Assistant, or Cook.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
