🕒 7:30AM - 4PM + Potential for 10H shifts and weekend work

Adecco is seeking experienced Electricians to join a major electrical infrastructure and substation upgrade project in Kaiapoi. This is a temporary assignment commencing in October 2026, with work available through to February 2027.

Working as part of a skilled project team, you will support the installation and upgrade of electrical infrastructure in both civil construction and active substation environments. Opportunities are available for both General Electricians and qualified High Voltage (HV) Electricians.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with HV cable pulling and cable installations
• Support switchgear installation and control cable installation
• Complete cable terminations and electrical connections
• Assist with cabinet installation and wiring
• Carry out switchyard and equipment earthing activities
• Support electrical infrastructure assembly and wiring
• Perform HV works where appropriately qualified
• Provide general electrical support across the project site

We’re Looking For

• Active EWRB License
• Registered Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications and own hand tolls.
• Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or substation environments preferred
• HV experience advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules and cable cards.
• Working at Height ticket - preferred
• EWP tickets - preferred
• Reliable and physically fit
• Full NZ Driver License Class 1
• Right to work in NZ
