About the Role

You'll be working across civil construction sites installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems. Projects may include residential developments, commercial works, water infrastructure upgrades, and civil construction projects throughout Hawke's Bay.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining stormwater and wastewater systems
• Laying and connecting drainage pipework
• Working with PVC, PE, and concrete pipelines
• Reading and interpreting plans and site specifications
• Assisting with excavation and trench work
• Working alongside machine operators and civil crews
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to NZ standards
• Maintaining a tidy and compliant worksite

What We're Looking For

• Previous drainlaying experience
• Civil construction experience advantageous
• Knowledge of NZ drainage practices and standards
• Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence
• WTR endorsements advantageous
• Excavator operating experience beneficial but not essential
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
• Able to work effectively within a team environment
