Civil Offsider | Invercargill | October Start

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Civil Offsider to join a busy civil construction crew in Invercargill, with work expected to commence in October.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, can handle physically demanding work, and thrives in a fast-paced civil environment. As a key support person on site, you'll act as the crew's right-hand person, assisting with spotting duties, supporting operators, and helping maintain productivity across the project.

What We're Looking For

• Full Class 1 Driver's Licence (essential)
• Previous civil construction experience advantageous
• Good awareness of site safety and machinery movements
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the crew wherever needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a spotter for machinery and site operations
• Supporting operators and crew with day-to-day tasks
• Sweeping and brooming during downtime
• General labouring and site housekeeping duties
• Assisting the team to safely and efficiently complete projects
• Following all health and safety requirements on site

Working Hours

This role requires flexibility and commitment, including:

• Early starts
• Late finishes
• Long hours during busy periods
• Occasional weekend work when required

Applicants must be comfortable working extended hours and contributing as part of a hardworking civil crew.
