Important Information

• Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
• NZ Driver Licence is essential for all roles
• Licence checks will be carried out during the onboarding process

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or a related field
• Proven experience operating civil construction machinery
• Current New Zealand Class 2, 4 or 5 Licence
• Current WTR endorsements
• Site Safe highly regarded
• Proven driving experience with the relevant licence class
• Civil construction driving experience highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of vehicle safety and compliance requirements
• Ability to complete daily pre-start inspections
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Physically fit and willing to assist with hands-on site work
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Practical problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Willingness to learn, upskill, and adapt across a variety of tasks and projects

What You'll Be Doing

Labourers:

• Assisting with drainage, roading, earthworks, and general civil construction projects
• Supporting machine operators and site crews
• Carrying out physical, hands-on work in a safe and efficient manner
• Using tools and equipment on site
• Working outdoors across a variety of projects

Machine operators:

• Operating a range of civil machinery including excavators, loaders, rollers and graders
• Assisting with earthworks, drainage, roading, and site preparation
• Carrying out pre-start checks and maintaining equipment
• Supporting site crews to keep projects running safely and efficiently

Drivers:

• Safe operation of tipper trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport materials - Class 2,4 or 5
• Transporting civil construction materials and equipment
• Completing daily vehicle pre-start and safety checks
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Assisting crews with ground work and general labouring duties
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
• Working collaboratively with site supervisors and crew members
