Training Executive

Location: Menara Merdeka 118, Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours: Office Hours

  • Basic Salary: RM4,500 – RM5,500
  • Target Experience: 3–5+ years
  • Level: Mid-level individual contributor
  • Reports to: HR Manager


Key Responsibilities

Training Planning & Coordination

  • Develop annual and monthly training plans.
  • Coordinate training schedules aligned with manpower and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with Operations, Safety, AV, Ticketing, and Guest Experience teams.

Onboarding & Employee Development

  • Conduct orientation and induction programs.
  • Ensure new hires complete mandatory training before deployment.
  • Coordinate department-specific training and OJT.
  • Monitor probation training completion and readiness.

Service Excellence Training

  • Deliver customer service, guest engagement, and service recovery training.
  • Reinforce service culture, safety awareness, and professionalism.
  • Conduct refresher training based on guest feedback and audits.

Safety & Compliance

  • Coordinate safety, emergency response, evacuation, and crowd management training.
  • Support drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and operational training requirements.

Training Materials & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain training manuals, SOP guides, presentations, videos, and assessments.
  • Ensure content accuracy and proper version control.
  • Support digital and blended learning initiatives.

Reporting & Evaluation

  • Track training attendance and completion rates.
  • Conduct competency assessments and post-training evaluations.
  • Prepare training reports and support audit requirements.

Requirements

Education

Required

  • Diploma or Degree in HR, Training & Development, Hospitality, Tourism, Education, or related field.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline.

Experience

Required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Training, Learning & Development, or Operational Coaching.

Preferred

  • Experience in hospitality, attractions, theme parks, retail, or high-volume customer service environments.
  • Exposure to safety and compliance training.

Skills

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Able to engage frontline employees effectively.
  • Understanding of customer service and guest experience standards.
  • Good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to support shift-based training schedules when required.
