Solution Architect(+ Technical ) - SAP BTP

Client Information:

The client is a multinational organization operating in a highly dynamic industry, with regional presence across multiple markets. The engagement involves managing complex account relationships, ensuring seamless program delivery, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing business operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Required Skills

• 10+ years of Solution Architecture experience in enterprise digital transformation programmes
• Strong experience delivering B2B Customer Portals and Commerce Solutions.
• Deep expertise in SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA integrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, CPI/SCPI.
• Experience with APIs, IDocs, OData, REST/SOAP services, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Expertise in defining HLDs, solution blueprints, integration architecture, and technology roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of MACH, API-First, Headless, Microservices, Cloud-Native, and Event-Driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based application delivery and enterprise integration platforms.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Ability to lead architecture discussions and drive technical decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with business users, product teams, vendors, and delivery partners.
• Proven leadership across large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), SAP CX.
• Commercetools, Mirakl, Spryker, or other composable commerce platforms.
• SAP Commerce Cloud or SAP CX certifications.
• SAP BTP Smart Data Integration (SDI) Advanced (P3).
• AI-enabled customer solutions experience.
• Oil & Gas or other regulated industry experience.
• Strong SAP ECC and S/4HANA functional knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Solution Architecture delivery across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and support phases.
• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale B2B customer portal and digital commerce solutions.
• Define solution architecture, High-Level Designs (HLDs), integration designs, technology roadmaps, and non-functional requirements.
• Drive integration architecture between customer portals and SAP ECC/S/4HANA using APIs, IDocs, OData, SAP Integration Suite (SCPI/BTP), and enterprise integration patterns.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, vendors, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and technology decision-making across transformation programmes.
• Design modern API-first, headless, MACH, microservices, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, reliability, and operational requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, integration, and delivery teams.
• Support delivery governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to align solutions with organizational standards and future-state architectures.
• Drive innovation through emerging technologies, including AI-enabled customer solutions where applicable.
