Senior Murex OO System Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Murex OO System Analyst to support and enhance the Murex Front Office (FO) platform within the MEA Tech domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, configuring Murex solutions, and collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and support teams to deliver high-quality system enhancements.

The role requires strong functional and technical knowledge of the Murex platform, with experience supporting Front Office trading operations and system integration.

Required Skills

🔹 6-9 years of experience as a System Analyst supporting Murex platforms within the banking or financial services industry.

🔹 Strong hands-on experience with Murex Front Office (FO) modules.

🔹 Experience gathering and analysing business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.

🔹 Knowledge of trade lifecycle, financial products, and Front Office business processes.

🔹 Experience supporting applications hosted on Windows Server 2012.

🔹 Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012, including SQL queries and data analysis.

🔹 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

🔹 Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

✔ Experience in Treasury Front Office operations.

✔ Knowledge of Trade Simulation and Trade Profit & Loss (P&L) processes.

✔ Exposure to Murex Back Office (BO) modules and end-to-end trade processing.

✔ Experience with system integration, release management, and production support.

✔ Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery methodologies.

✔ Understanding of capital markets, treasury products, and financial risk management.

✅ Analyse business and functional requirements for Murex Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) initiatives.

✅ Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions within the Murex platform.

✅ Support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Murex Front Office applications.

✅ Collaborate with traders, operations teams, developers, and project stakeholders to deliver business solutions.

✅ Perform impact analysis, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.

✅ Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring timely root cause analysis and resolution.

✅ Support system integration activities with upstream and downstream applications.

✅ Prepare and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and system support guides.

✅ Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and change management processes.

✅ Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, governance, and operational standards.
