Senior Murex Developer (Datamart Reporting)

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a Senior Murex Developer with strong expertise in Murex Datamart reporting to join the MEA Tech team.
• The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting Datamart solutions within the Murex platform, ensuring accurate, scalable, and high-performance reporting for business and regulatory requirements.
• The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities across SQL, Java/Python, and database technologies, along with hands-on experience in Murex Datamart architecture and configuration.

• Hands-on or functional experience with SAP (preferably SAP S/4HANA)
• Proven expertise in Business Process Design (Advanced level – P3)

• Experience working in regional/global transformation projects is a strong advantage 

Travel Requirements

• Local travel: Minimum 3 days/week onsite
• Regional travel: ~1 week, 2–3 times per year across ASEAN

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Functional SAP Consultant / Business Process Lead with O2C focus
• Experience in large-scale ERP transformation or template rollout
• Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-country teams
• Able to balance standardization vs localization needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance Murex Datamart reporting solutions.
• Configure and maintain Datamart schemas, feeders, batches, and extraction processes.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning activities.
• Integrate Murex Datamart with Oracle and SQL Server 2012 databases.
• Support report generation for risk, finance, and regulatory reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to Datamart data loads and reporting discrepancies.
• Automate processes using Java, Python, and Linux scripting where applicable.
• Collaborate with business analysts, risk teams, and infrastructure teams for requirement analysis and solution delivery.
• Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and consistency across reporting layers.
