Key Competencies:

We are looking for a candidate who

has strong technical expertise in Fire & Gas (F&G) systems and a proven track record in the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of safety-critical systems within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity, and compliance of fire detection, gas detection, and suppression systems while supporting project execution, operational safety, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a highly analytical professional who can effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in risk assessments, and deliver engineering solutions that enhance asset protection and personnel safety.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Fire Protection Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in F&G system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance within oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of fire detection, gas detection, suppression, CCTV, and integrated safety systems.
• Experience in developing engineering deliverables including specifications, datasheets, calculations, and technical drawings.
• Ability to integrate F&G systems with DCS, ESD, and other plant safety systems.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Thorough understanding of international standards and regulations, including NFPA, IEC 61508/61511, and API standards.
• Proficiency in engineering and design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, and F&G system software.
• Experience participating in HAZOP, SIL studies, and risk assessment workshops.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering disciplines.
• Preferred certifications include NFPA Certification, TÜV Functional Safety Certification, and NICET Level II or higher in Fire Protection Systems.
