• Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) and product lifecycle management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on schedule.
• Solid understanding of product design, engineering processes, manufacturing techniques, tooling, and production validation.
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, forging, die casting, and assembly operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes, including FAI, reliability testing, and product qualification methodologies.
• Experience driving cost optimization, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

Key Competencies:

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Leads New Product Development (NPD), Value Engineering (VE), and Product Sustainability Engineering (PSE) projects from quotation through product launch.
• Manages project schedules, engineering design activities, tooling development, Engineering Builds (EB), Qualification Builds (QB), pilot runs, and initial production phases.
• Collaborates closely with global project leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of product development initiatives.
• Works with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to achieve project milestones, quality targets, and customer requirements.
• Reviews product designs, manufacturing processes, and material selections to ensure compliance with design specifications and cost objectives.
• Leads suppliers and project teams in planning and executing product builds, validating readiness for production and market launch.
• Drives technical issue resolution with suppliers and sub-suppliers, including plastic injection molding, forging, and die-casting partners.
• Partners with quality teams to support First Article Inspection (FAI), reliability testing, and product qualification activities.
• Coordinates product development efforts with international teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Contributes to cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives through design optimization and process enhancement.
