An Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate plays a critical role within Sourcing team, primarily responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing legal contracts to support procurement activities across various categories.
Key Competencies:
1. Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Develop, review, and negotiate supplier contracts for diverse categories such as consumables, construction, IT services, Capex, and indirect categories. Ensure alignment of contracts with client’s legal and business requirements.
2. Legal Compliance: Conduct thorough reviews of supplier contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and identify potential legal risks in the terms and conditions.
3. Supplier Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for supplier contract-related matters. Collaborate with the Sourcing team to support negotiations and resolve contractual issues swiftly and effectively.
4. Response Drafting: Prepare responses to inquiries from suppliers’ legal teams, addressing concerns, proposed revisions, and clarifications regarding contracts.
5. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Units and Legal teams (if required), to ensure alignment on contract terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance contract management efficiency and streamline workflows.
