Salary: 38K to 44K per year
Our client, a leading player in the shipping industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customs Clearance Operations Team Member to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals with a passion for logistics and customs procedures, who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process all necessary customs documentation for import and export shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
Ensure all shipments meet applicable laws and regulations, including correct HS/HTS classification and origin determination.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and customs brokers to resolve shipment holds or queries efficiently.
Generate and maintain accurate customs reports and data within management systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must hold the right to work full time in Ireland.
Great communication skills, fluent in English.
Proven experience in a freight forwarding or customs clearance environment is essential.
Excellent knowledge of Irish/EU and international customs procedures and requirements.
Strong IT skills, particularly in customs data input systems such as Descartes or Thyme, as well as proficiency in MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume documentation.
