System Analyst

Our client is a leading technology and innovation organisation in Hong Kong, driving digital transformation and technology adoption across multiple sectors. They are seeking an experienced System Analyst to lead enterprise-scale cloud, infrastructure, application, and AI-related initiatives within a dynamic and innovation-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and strategic objectives, translating them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient end-to-end technology solutions in collaboration with application development teams.
• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement through system optimisation and enhancements.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate technologies, platforms, and architectural approaches to meet business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions adhere to information security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to design, deploy, and support hybrid environments spanning on-premises data centres and public cloud platforms.
• Lead solution architecture activities, including architecture reviews, risk assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and data management standards.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, system designs, data flows, integration specifications, and operational procedures.
• Advise on technology stack selection, development tools, and platform strategy to support long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Project Managers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support additional initiatives and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture, system design, and application implementation.
• Strong hands-on development experience in .NET, JavaScript, Next.js, and Python.
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications across multi-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Solid understanding of cloud and infrastructure architecture, including Hub-and-Spoke networking, Landing Zones, Custom Domains, Application Gateways, WAF, Load Balancers, CDN, Virtual Machines, Web Services, Containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure teams to deploy, maintain, and scale on-premises applications supporting production workloads.
• Strong background in system integration, API design, microservices/service-oriented architecture (SOA), and enterprise application development.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise-grade data platforms, with mandatory expertise in PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices is highly desirable.
• Experience building, training, or integrating AI/ML solutions into production environments would be a significant advantage.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
