Senior Writer

Our client is a well-established healthcare information and medical communications organization serving healthcare professionals across Asia. Due to an internal replacement, they are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join their Hong Kong team.

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in medical writing, medical communications, scientific publishing, healthcare journalism, medical affairs, or related fields.

Strong understanding of clinical research, medical terminology, and evidence-based medicine.

Excellent scientific writing and editing skills in English.

Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data effectively.

Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare communications, or medical publishing organizations is highly preferred.

Advanced degree (MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD) is advantageous but not essential.

Develop and review high-quality scientific and medical content for healthcare professionals.

Create a range of medical communication materials including articles, educational content, digital content, newsletters, product updates, and promotional materials.

Translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, accurate, and engaging content.

Conduct literature searches and critically evaluate clinical data from journals, congresses, and published studies.

Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy and project delivery.

Ensure all content complies with relevant regulatory and industry guidelines.

Mentor junior writers and contribute to editorial planning where appropriate.
