Senior Product Developer

A large European sourcing office, specializing in various product categories. They are seeking an experienced product developer with expertise in hand tools, garden tools or power tools.

Requirements:

• Possess at least 7 years' experience in a similar role, handling product development and/or technical knowledge
• Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical will be preferred
• Significant and relevant experience in product development
• Familiar with MS Office/Google Workspace, Solidworks, Adobe etc.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English, Chinese
• Beneficial to have factory experience dealing with suppliers in Hand Tools, Power Tools and Garden Tools
• Able to work under pressure, result-orientated and self-motivated

Responsibilities:

• Independently design and conduct product development
• Conduct market research on product trends of DIY Hand Tools, or Power Tools
• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing teams and factories regarding product development
• Coordinate daily development with teams in Asia and EU Headquarter
• Prepare internal sales materials for the customer
• Follow up the development process and manage the fulfilment independently
• Present the offer and range in a professional way to the customer
