Senior Finance & Accounting Officer

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company, looking for a Senior Finance& Accounting Officer for their winning team

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Controllership

• Engage with the Finance Shared Service Center to ensure process excellence with the highest degree of controllership

• Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

• Support tax audit and tax filing processes

• Support Finance Policy & Procedure reviews and updates.

• Assist with journal entries, accounts payable (A/P) reconciliation, and Trial Balance review.

 General Accounting Operations

• Manage Purchase-to-Pay cycle: process and track purchase orders (POs), corporate credit cards, payments, and bank communication.

• Conduct fixed asset counts and maintain fixed asset records.

• Assist in the implementation of accounting and operational policies and procedures; support record retention compliance.

• Assist in board resolutions and company secretarial matters.

• Support vendor assessment, contracting processes, and ongoing vendor management.

Procurement & Supply Chain Support

• Support in review of monthly purchase orders based on latest local end-sales assumptions.

• Support coordination with distributors, customer service teams, and manufacturing sites.

Job Requirement:

• 2–4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting function

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or HKFRS

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is an advantage

• Proficient in both written and spoken English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of SAP is preferred

• Solid attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure
