Relationship Manager, Syndicated Finance

About the Role

Our client is a leading banking institution with a strong presence in Hong Kong. They are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to support the growth of their Syndicated Finance business and manage key corporate banking relationships. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Syndicated Finance, Structured Finance, Credit Analysis, or Relationship Management. 
• Strong understanding of syndicated loans, corporate lending products, and credit risk assessment. 
• Experience preparing credit applications, financial analysis, and loan documentation. 
• Strong relationship management and business development skills. 
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. 
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage. 
• Knowledge of loan market documentation and industry practices would be beneficial. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
• Support the origination, structuring, and execution of syndicated loan transactions.
• Conduct credit and financial analysis, preparing loan proposals and transaction recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and participating lenders throughout the syndication process.
• Monitor portfolio performance, borrower financials, and covenant compliance.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across corporate banking products and services.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Stay abreast of market developments and industry trends to support business growth initiatives.
