Our client, a leading global Korean semiconductor trading company based in Hong Kong, is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join its growing team.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, merchandising, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing workload effectively, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Korean

Responsibilities:

  • Create, issue, and administer purchase orders (PO) accurately and within established timelines.
  • Coordinate procurement-related shipments, delivery schedules, and supporting documentation to ensure seamless order fulfillment and supply continuity.
  • Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier databases, product information, and ERP system data with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Liaise closely with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to support day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Monitor purchase order progress, track shipment and delivery status, and proactively address issues related to pricing discrepancies, product quality, order quantities, or delivery delays.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with corporate policies, procedures, and authorization requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement processes, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare procurement reports, analyze purchasing data, and provide administrative support for sourcing and procurement functions as needed.
  • Support special projects and perform ad hoc duties assigned by management.
