Legal Counsel – Family Office

Our client is a well-established private investment platform led by a prominent Hong Kong entrepreneur. The team actively invests in private companies, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and growth opportunities across Asia, with a substantial interest in technology, innovation and AI.

They are looking for a Legal Counsel to support investment and corporate matters in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal advisor to the owner on investment opportunities, transaction strategy, risk assessment, and other investment-related matters

• Support private investments, M&A transactions, and joint ventures

• Draft, review, and negotiate investment and commercial agreements

• Assist with cross-border transactions involving Hong Kong, Mainland China, and offshore structures

• Support legal matters relating to investment funds and investment vehicles with the team

• Liaise with external counsels and advisors

• Support commercial work in business side when necessary

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with experience in private M&A, investments, or corporate transactions

• Exposure to fund structures or private equity investments is an advantage

• Fluent in English and Mandarin

• Strong commercial mindset and communication skills

• Open-minded, agile, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Interest in technology, innovation, and emerging businesses
