•       Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

•       8 to 12 years of hands-on experience delivering IT Infrastructure projects in finance and/or securities brokerage environments.

•       Full life-cycle Linux management experience with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and major China distro environments.

•       Familiarity with Linux scripting and/or other scripting language, plus configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

•       Strong practical knowledge of AWS, AliCloud, Azure, and virtualization technologies such as VMWare, KVM, and Huawei DCS.

•       Good communication skills with conversational Mandarin and English, plus strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

•       Experience working in hybrid environments involving cross-region, cross-language integration with in-house and outsourced providers.

•       Broad awareness of virtualization, Windows OS, Linux OS, VM, clouds, storage, AI-related, Exchanges-related, ultra-low latency/high frequency trading, and/or cyber-security technologies.

Our client, a leading investment bank is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure VP/AVP with strong hands-on expertise in compute and storage infrastructure across data centers, cloud, co-location, network, and cyber-security environments.

This role supports infrastructure initiatives and projects tied to business priorities and IT strategies, with direct involvement in the full solution life cycle from requirements gathering and proof of concept through design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support. The position also includes responsibility for governance policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work in a client-facing staffing context and will support infrastructure operations, vendors, and service providers while helping maintain stability, availability, and compliance across complex technical environments.


What You Will Do?

•       Lead hands-on work on infrastructure projects and initiatives supporting business and IT strategy requirements.

•       Participate in the full infrastructure solution life cycle, including requirements, PoC, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

•       Prepare, review, and update IT infrastructure governance policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

•       Manage daily operational maintenance and support to maintain infrastructure availability and stability.

•       Work with service providers and vendors on procurement, design, implementation, and incident troubleshooting.

•       Support changes, maintenance, and incident handling outside normal office hours when required.
