IT Facility Support Officer

Our client is a well known Global company in HK and they are looking for a IT Facility Support Officer to cope with their business.

Responsibilities

·      Routine inspections & property management — Conduct regular checks of office areas, meeting rooms and devices (printers, phones, UPS, AV, CCTV); maintain the asset register (location, condition, tags, warranty) and log issues for action. 

·      Incident response & ad hoc support — Receive and respond to facility incidents and complaints (ceiling water leakage, AC water leakage, AC temperature control, toilet blockage, lighting failures); implement immediate containment measures and coordinate permanent fixes. 

·      Repair & maintenance coordination — Raise and track work orders, appoint and liaise with vendors or internal technicians, follow up on repairs until completion and verify quality against service standards. 

·      Renovation planning & scheduling — Support office renovation activities by contacting and managing vendors, preparing and communicating schedules, coordinating on-site work to minimize disruption and ensuring handover with punch‑list completion. 

·      IT device & CCTV first‑line support — Provide basic troubleshooting and setup for CCTV and access control health, coordinate repairs/updates and handle routine recording or access requests in line with security policies.

Requirements

·      Education & experience — Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, IT, Engineering or related field, plus 2+ years’ combined experience in facilities operations, building maintenance or IT support. 

·      Technical knowledge — Practical understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical basics; familiarity with CCTV, access control and common IT peripherals; ability to perform hands‑on troubleshooting and supervise vendor work. 

·      Vendor & project coordination skills — Proven ability to manage external contractors, obtain quotes, monitor schedules and ensure timely completion of maintenance and renovation tasks.

·      Communication & customer service — Strong verbal and written communication to liaise with MG management office, staff and vendors; service‑oriented approach to handling complaints and keeping stakeholders informed. 

·      Personal attributes & availability — Organized, proactive and able to prioritize under pressure; physically able for on‑site inspections and occasional after‑hours emergency response; adherence to health, safety and data‑privacy practices.
