Business Analyst (AI)

Our client is a globally renowned technology and consulting company specializing in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and services. They are currently engaged in a project for a leading aviation business and are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support the ongoing initiative.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic Requirements Leadership: Partner with senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to define, prioritise, and govern business and technical requirements for innovation sandbox initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and investment objectives.
• Solution Articulation: Translate complex business needs into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution narratives that drive clarity and accelerate delivery across engineering teams.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discovery workshops, executive briefings, and structured feedback sessions with senior leaders to build consensus, manage expectations, and align innovation priorities with business outcomes.
• End-to-End Process Design: Architect current-state and future-state workflows, identifying transformation opportunities and articulating the business case for change to leadership audiences.
• Insight-Driven Decision Support: Leverage data analysis to surface actionable insights, quantify innovation ROI, and present recommendations that influence executive decision-making.
• Delivery Governance: Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and UAT strategy, ensuring delivery cadence aligns with business milestones and stakeholder commitments.

Requirement:

• Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or related disciplines
• 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in innovation, digital transformation, or data-driven environments
• Experience in data and AI projects with strong understanding of user requirements
• Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; familiarity with statistical methods and optimization modelling is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with analytics and query tools (e.g. Alteryx) and data modelling techniques
• Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g. QlikView, Power BI)
• Solid experience in requirement gathering, user story writing, and functional documentation (BRD/FSD, acceptance criteria)
• Good understanding of business process analysis, including current and future state workflow design
• Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog management, sprint planning, and UAT support
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills across different levels
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, detail-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset
• Familiarity with innovation frameworks or sandbox environments is a plus
