Start from 2 January 2026 (7-months contract)


Location: Hong Hong City Hall


Service Time: On shifts from Monday to Sunday including Public holiday within 0600 to 23:59, 45 hours per week, 9-hours per day


Salary: $145/ hour

Requirements:


1. A permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.


2. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent; and attained Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects in HKDSEE or equivalent


3. Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or equivalent.


4. At least 2 years full-time post qualification working experience and at least 1 year full time working experience in venue management in the places of public entertainment with over 500 audience seats (preferably in Performing Arts Venues, and Community Halls will be an advantage


5. Good command of Cantonese and written Chinese and English, fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage


6. Good understanding on performing arts and venue operations


7. Familiar with computer software application including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Input Method 


8. Mature, self-disciplined and customer-oriented with good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills

Duties: 


1. To perform the duties of Duty Manager to ensure smooth running of all activities staged at City Hall.


2. To enforce house rules and Civic Centre regulations.


3. To handle enquiries and requests from the public and hirers.


4. To monitor events taking place at Edinburgh Place/ Memorial Garden to avoid crowd, traffic, noise and hygienic problems.


5. To serve as subject officer to monitor the hiring and the event operations of facilities in Low Block and High Block of City Hall.


6. To liaise with hirers on provision of house supporting services and technical support in different aspects, including but not limited to ticketing, publicity, technical and front-of-house arrangements.


7. To consolidate booking information for operation and meetings; to improve the booking files management system; to audit past event files; and to follow up on outstanding charges.


8. To perform ad hoc duties assigned by senior officers whenever operational needs arise.
