Account Executive (Startup Ecosystem)

Our client is seeking a passionate and energetic Associate, Startup Account Management to support the growth of Hong Kong's innovation and technology ecosystem. The successful candidate will work closely with startups, investors, and strategic partners to facilitate collaboration, business development opportunities, and ecosystem engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engagement and relationship management with investment partners and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Coordinate regular communications and operational requests with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct portfolio analysis and mapping to identify collaboration, co-development, and market expansion opportunities.
• Understand portfolio companies' technologies, commercialization strategies, and growth objectives.
• Facilitate business matching and networking opportunities among startups, potential clients, strategic partners, and investors.
• Support post-investment business development initiatives.
• Assist in cross-border startup ecosystem projects between Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Coordinate meetings, events, documentation, and administrative activities.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, or related disciplines.
• Experience in startup ecosystem development, business development, partnership management, investor relations, venture support, or related areas.
• Exposure to startups, venture capital, innovation & technology, incubation, or acceleration programmes is an advantage.
• Strong interest in innovation and technology, particularly the startup ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of the Hong Kong and Mainland China startup ecosystem will be an advantage.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
