Warehouse Operative

Location: Hull, HU9

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing business in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure permanent employment.

Working as part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for picking orders, replenishing stock, supporting goods in and goods out operations, and assisting with general warehouse duties to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Picking and preparing orders accurately for dispatch.

* Replenishing stock locations to maintain product availability.

* Loading, unloading and moving stock throughout the warehouse.

* Carrying out manual handling duties safely and efficiently.

* Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.

* Putting stock away accurately and safely.

* Conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory control.

* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Adhering to all health and safety procedures.

* Supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

What We're Looking For

* Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

* Experience with picking, replenishment and general warehouse duties.

* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.

* Good attention to detail and accuracy.

* Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A Counterbalance FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

* A full UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
