Training Specialist


Location: Remote covering southern and west of Northern Ireland
Contract Length: 9 Months
Daily Rate: 250 - 300 Euros (Umbrella)
Driving Required: Yes a license is essential due to travel.



Our client is seeking a highly motivated Training Specialist to join their Field UK Applications team within the Technical Services department. This contract, field-based role presents an exceptional opportunity to deliver world-class training support for Near Patient Care products, contributing to an outstanding customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver Expert Training: Provide and document product training for customers, ensuring compliance with established standards.

  • Customer Support: Address training-related inquiries, covering product installation and offering troubleshooting and technical assistance as necessary.

  • On-Site Activities: Assist with hardware/software implementations during product launches, requiring regular travel, including potential overnight stays and occasional unsocial hours.


Essential Qualifications and Skills:



  • Registered Nurse or experienced Medical Device Trainer with a passion for training and technical support.

  • Strong scientific knowledge, both theoretical and practical, in a medical setting.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.

  • Full UK/EU driving licence and a passport for potential overseas training.

  • Fluent in written and verbal English.


Desirable Skills and Experience:



  • Degree-level education or equivalent, with a background in Nursing or Training.

  • Familiarity with Primary/Secondary Care organisations within the NHS, ideally within a hospital environment.

  • Experience designing and delivering tailored training programmes aligned with patient pathway strategies.

  • Knowledge of medical analytical systems, quality assurance, and customer relationship management tools.

  • Proven troubleshooting experience and a successful history of providing on-site customer support.

  • Awareness of the diagnostics industry and experience in a multicultural environment.


This position requires immediate availability and proximity to Southern and Western Trusts.
