Location: London - 1 day per week onsite

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a London-based council on an initial 6-month contract, leading a programme focused on Azure optimisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused Project Manager with strong experience managing cloud transformation, optimisation or cost-efficiency initiatives within complex public sector or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of an Azure optimisation programme from planning through to implementation.


• Work closely with technical teams, cloud specialists and senior stakeholders to identify and deliver optimisation opportunities.


• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and budgets.


• Coordinate delivery across multiple technical and business teams.


• Provide clear progress reporting to senior leadership and programme governance forums.


• Ensure optimisation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in Azure performance, usage and cost.


• Manage suppliers and third-party partners where required.


• Support the council in establishing effective governance
