Project & Industrialization Engineer

Our client is part of a global automotive manufacturing group and a trusted partner in the automotive industry, committed to operational excellence, quality, and continuous growth. To support upcoming customer projects and industrialization activities, we are looking for a proactive and technically driven Project & Industrialization Engineer to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the main technical contact for assigned customers throughout the project lifecycle

• Coordinate new product introduction activities from feasibility assessment through industrialization, start of production, and ramp-up

• Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and customer deliverables

• Create and maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and engineering master data

• Coordinate prototypes, validation activities, APQP and PPAP submissions

• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project execution

• Support production readiness, process implementation, post-launch activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• University degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field

• Previous experience in project engineering, industrialization, manufacturing, product or process development

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and production launch processes

• Experience with BOM management, engineering changes, and technical documentation

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Good command of English, both written and spoken

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive industry or another manufacturing environment

• Experience coordinating international customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams

• Experience with ERP or PLM systems

• Experience with capacity analysis, tooling readiness, and process optimization
