Adecco is currently seeking on behalf of its client, a global leader in insurance brokerage, risk management, and consulting services, , for a professional to cover the following position:

Senior Accountant

Job Description

·      Manage accounting operations

·      Support month-end and year-end close process

·      Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS principles

·      Prepares financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations

·      Ensures compliance with tax regulations and tax forms (VAT, WHT, Income Tax)

·      Experience on Mydata

·      Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

·      Maintains and reconciles fixed assets schedules

Candidate Profile

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

·      Minimum of 7 years of experience in a structured Accounting Department, preferably within a multinational company or a large organization.

·      Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

·      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·      Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with myDATA reporting requirements.

·      Proven experience in the preparation of financial statements and balance sheets in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (ELP) and IFRS.

·      Strong experience in VAT compliance, tax reporting, and corporate income tax matters.

·      Experience collaborating with external auditors and supporting statutory audit processes.
