Adecco, on behalf of its client, a company operating in the communications services sector, providing solutions to both public sector organizations and private enterprises, is seeking to recruit one (1) professional for the following position:

Financial Reporting Officer (Athens)

Job Description

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Greek GAAP and IFRS
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze variances against budget and forecasts
• Provide clear explanations, insights, and recommendations to management
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and addressing inquiries
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial reporting
• Monitor and present key financial performance indicators (KPIs) through dashboards and management reports

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
