IT Asset Configuration Management Expert

On behalf of our trusted client, we are looking for:

IT Asset Configuration Management Expert

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and configuration items throughout their lifecycle;
• Administer and continuously improve the CMDB data model and governance framework;
• Ensure the quality, consistency and completeness of configuration and asset data;
• Coordinate CMDB reviews, audits and reconciliation activities;
• Support ServiceNow CMDB administration and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Maintain service and infrastructure relationships required for impact analysis;
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Application Owners, Security and Risk teams;
• Prepare reports, dashboards and KPIs related to asset and configuration management;
• Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and documentation;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of policies, procedures and operational controls within IT Asset and Configuration Management.

We are looking for:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, IT Service Management, IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, or a similar IT role;
• Hands-on experience with CMDB administration and configuration lifecycle management;
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM/ITAM modules;
• Good understanding of ITIL practices and processes;
• Understanding of servers, databases, networks, cloud services, end-user devices and business applications;
• Good command of English, both written and spoken;
• Experience with discovery tools, inventory management and data reconciliation processes will be considered an advantage;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Structured and process-oriented mindset;
